Quest communications announced that the investigation into its hinky account was expanded, as it reported better earnings, using its hinky accounting methods. They should get the Joe Lieberman Award for whistling in the dark.

The hinkiest thing today is something that happened to a friend, who said, she watched a woman slap another woman today for calling her baby a name in another language that she thought was derogatory. The woman cried, and they called security. Security came, and joined in explaining to the woman who battered the woman who had called her baby a name. They explained that in the language that she used, it was not derogatory, but a term used to endear the young.

The woman was told by several people, and eventually believed that she had struck too soon; which gave the struck woman the chance to make a speech to her. We hair that the speech was worth the price of admission, as the young woman explained to the voilent woman that she felt sorry for her because she was so filled with fear, anger and emotional trama; and that she was too ignorant to ask the woman to clearify what she ment, rather than striking her. To arms, to arms-- that's what's hinky; isn't that the hinky thing about these times? I guess people act the ass today so often becuase they can get away with it; people understand, and are expected to tolerate a run of the mill assault and battery in a doctor's office, without consiquences.

Did you ever watch an old picture, where the people put up with a world of shit before losing their cool? Those days are done, it seems; maybe because people think it's okay to snap. And if you think referring back to old movies to get a reflection of the times; just think where all this socially approved lashing out gets its okay. Well, F this S, I'm outta here!

If anyone needs to see something hinky, go to google images and type in Cathrine Fitts to see her before and after shots; after that is she was hounded down to the bottom of a bad town when she broke from the official story about narcotics and defaults on mortgages in certain key areas of certain key cities. She lost everything (the 6 million dollars she piled up as a banker at Dillon, Read and a big shot at HUD Very hinky stuff, her story.

Periodically, we have to take time to edit that jagged stream of thought prose leeking onto this hinky.blogspt.com. We have to readjust our patter, renovate our rap, reprogram our reproaching, retune.. well you get the pix. Hinky is real estate in nyc. Having walked around most of the day, through the damp, chilly streets, past and through the flea markets where we watched the small skinny guys counting their money over boxes of LPs, and the teenager from china, selling "AIR" basketball shoes for 15 dollars; past the coffee shops, book stores, overcast, we talked about the things you discuss on sundays. I noticed empty prime retail space everywhere, and restaurants with signs: "now open 24 hours." It's hinky, but hey, at least we're in it together, even of you need a coffee at 4:30am because you can't sleep anyway.

The goods are cheap, but nobody needs them more than they need work to pay the rent, the mortgage, the taxes, the water, heat and Con Ed (that the electro power bill for those of you outside nyc, and the stock pays a very nice yield, which is tax free as per congressional mandate last week, a wopping 5.4 percent tax free for those with anything to invest). And that brings up a good point, for those of you not watching the energy markets, except for say ENDron's aftermath. The federal government approved a plan that will let power producers to charge customers for more generators.

The commision stated:
"The commission finds that the proposed modification to the New York Independent System Operator's installed capacity market will benefit customers because it will provide better price signals to investors for the construction of new generation, encourage the formation of long-term bilateral transactions and reduce incentives to withhold capacity." The FERC ruling is going to be a boone for independent energy producers such as DYN and MIR (symbols) who can charge and qualify for better financing to build more plants to generate electricity for consumers who are increasingly facing structural unemployment, even after years of building up those JAVA programing skills for INTERNET JOBS, the CB of the 1990s. 10-4 good buddies?

Meanwhile, Con ED, or ED as Hinky calls it, just sold 8.7 million common shares to Citigroup and Merrill, Lynch, which is most likely reselling packaging them in some hinky new mutual fund that offers a nice current yield without a lot of risk. You with me on that? So, we are seeing a lot of empty retail space, and are sure the space above these retail spaces are not doing much better, in light of the falling dollar, the falling companies, their falling accountants, investment banks, and law firms, as well as the falling Bond yields, and falling growth estimates and P/E rations, and the falling prices of all the shit that floods the market for the American consumer to lap up like beat dogs with their credit cards with fallin rates while taxes soar. There is always gold, after years of falling prices as a result of governments everywhere selling the gold reserves. They say "music alone shall survive," which might be why they kid selling the old LPs is was the only guy counting money while everything is falling down around him in the parking lot that doubles as a flea market on sundays.

Yes, it's come to the N word here at the home site for hinky: narcotics. Fifty years later, down these same mean streets. The money made from the drug trade in America; from trafficking. Narcodollars, black money, the proceeds from contraban, tax free and is somewhere in the range of 500 billion to 1 Trillion dollars per year, according to the Department of Justice. There is enough cash flow there to put anyone in office, anywhere. The only thing worse than the fact so many consumers are just amusing themselves with dope like dogs licking there balls, and the large pools of black money that are floating around the world is that America may be losing control of the money, whether in our over valued, crashed up looking securities markets, or flowing into businesses that act to clean the money.

Now that is a hinky situation, maybe even more then joe grab a Sam Adams losing 1/3 his shit to his greed and "his stupidity," even if the fraud and neglect of regulatory constraints were all beyond freedom and dignity. There is another 150 Trillion at steak in the derivatives markets. You know, the side bets on the main events, such as the price of oil, corn, Eurodollars verses Yen, pork bellies, sugar, cotton, coco, the Dow Jones Index, gold, silver, lead, nickle, and most of all COFFEE, the first illegalized "drug" (the things that enrich out lives in a world without growth).

What to do, huh? Not that the question is stopping the demand for all these drugs that are wrecking Americans-- just wrecking them right down to their eye sockets; and wrecking their families, and their friends who have to watch and put up with it in one way or another; and wrecking economies (although, we'd like to speak with the folks at Disney about Rehabworld resort to clean out all these hinky junkies who are fouling things up). But, the question is more of a how to control the fallout: how to maintain control of some fraction of a 500 to 1 Trillion dollar slush fund creamed of the miserty in illusory comfort of the American people. Any ideas on how to stop the drugs; should we, can we? How to wake the American people ups from their long nap? Years of drug use for entertainment, to fill up the time, to enjoy the wealth while the rest of the world has been struggling for clean water shoes. I think I know a few bad but effective ideas to wake America up, but they if they happened in the pictures you wouldn't believe them, so I'll just leave it to your hinky imaginations. Profoundly hinky, like the look of surgery; maybe a bit too hinky for this space; but hey, talk is cheap, what the hell does Hinky know?

Just this: prohibition started in 1919 and ended in 1933, after Hoover and Cautious Calvin Coolage and the crash that closed out the 1920's. Booze came with a new deal, somewhat of a government lead wipe up job, along with war, which was caused, in part, because China choked off Japanese oil; and the world is looking a little doomed to reap it right now.... hinkyhere@yahoo.com
