Why the hell not; I mean, you know, one CEO after another is getting pintched, and class action law suits, insider selling, and bond prices are at record levels. The dollar is sagging like an old washwoman's... dress; meanwhile, p/e ratios are nowhere near 10 and dividend yields are nowhere near 5 percent (historic measures of capitulation for the last 50 years.) Why not? Well, maybe it's the media, and it's uncanny ablity to managed expectations with all the hinky shit that it floats like so much bad paper. The S&P 500 broke 1000 today, which is something it has not done in one year. That's what is hinky, especially going into earning season, with unemployment well over 6 percent, even if you count lilke the BIG R republican with his shoes on.
