"Hay que empezar otra vez." Simple to say, even if you don't know what the hell it means, right? "It is necessary to begin again," which is all you can do, in a first world country that has power outages. Well, at least it was not right before an election, que no? Even if it were, I think it would have been a peaceful event. This blackout sure was; in fact it was like a giant block party in manhattan. No riots, no fighting. Just waiting, with candles and a lot of booze.
Power outages, highly organized simultaneous raids on Iraq's oil pipeline-- energy. Very hinky. Keeping supply in check requires the kind of high concept planning that makes hollywood productions look like children's stories if you were to look at it for what it is. Millions of lives, old people in high rises-- how will they get out if necessary? Water supplies-- Friday, a lost day anyway, right? 6 Billion "lost", well, like matter, it's neither created or destroyed where a strong, powerful, effective, secure government is concerned, right? But the "general will," is that a non renewable resource?
