First off, let's define terms for those of us who need a difference finder. "Hinky" is not a brazilian artist. Well, it may be, but it was American slang first. And while it is also the symol for a famous beer company, more than anything, it is an adj. for off, or twisted, or bent, overcooked or fishy.
This is hinky: Credele in the nypost.com, who usually shoots his mouth off very well did a whole story on Nigerian email scams. It was funny, but it missed the scale and scope of the problem, which is ironic since he seldom misses the big pix, such as what Greenspan is really doing with the interest rates on the mountain. "Nigeran 419 scams" as the secret service and other feds call them are a big fat assed problem across the net. See here
It has been bothering me for about 2 weeks. I don't know what's hinkier, that fact, or the 419 scam letters requesting money to help hide or subvert some unfair asset seizure in some far away land. Credele made a joke of it along the line of a fool and his money routine, but there are a lot of people being dupped out there by lettes like this one (See here!)

Big hinky story this week in Businessweek, which reports on the Russian deal with two Brits, two Romanians, and Israeli and a Dutch company called JKX or something close. It points out a hinky little deal that will send over 50% of the revenues on Russian gas west. Jason Bush, the author with a hinky name given the subject matter found the whole deal quite hinky. Wondering if they still pay people to cap oil wells...
Pakistan is starting up with the terrorist bullshit. Not enough call centers being offshored there? Maybe they see Indians farting through silk with all this networking, and they start blowing shit and themselves up.
Amy Goodman was on CSPAN on May 22. She said everyone in the world should vote for Pres. of the US. They clapped, the coverted to whom she spoke at Hamshire College, in Amherst (Prnounced: "arm-rest") MA. There is an idea, but Hinky has a better one based on a theme he picked up in a letter to the Post: why not let them vote out their tin pot dictators first. Oh yeah, that is because they don't vote and wouldn't know how. Okay, so most Americans don't vote. Like most sensible people, they vote their pockets, and when it price of coke and pepsi are the same, well... maybe we are telling ourselves to keep them both, Amy.
Why does Clinton look 70, while Bush, Sr looks like a Don? Ray Charles and Reagan died this week, a nation morns. Very hinky timing in and of itself.
